The museum is open Wednesday to monday, 11 am to 18 pm, close Tuesdays.

In the three-hour workshop, art educators and teachers exchange ideas. The participants try out the various aspects of the school workshops, can share experiences and questions, have time to reflect and discuss with the art educators.

The Friday studio is a format for young people and with them at the Georg Kolbe Museum. The second instalment of the format deals with different approaches and techniques of drawing. All materials are available in the museum, all you need to bring is a willingness to experiment!

Light and shadow, structures and textures, hatching, composition: under guidance, various drawing techniques are explored and deepened in practice. The programme is aimed at beginners and advanced students.

As part of the exhibition Noa Eshkol. No Time to Dance, the artist Omer Krieger is showing his video work Amphi (2020). He will talk about the concept and creation of the work and his engagement with the work of Noa Eshkol.
On the occasion of the current exhibition Noa Eshkol. No time to Dance, the Georg Kolbe Museum is organizing an international workshop focused on contemporary approaches to and productive ways of working with artists‘ estates and archives in the digital space. Register here.
