Modelling silhouettes from wax

There is much to discover in the Georg Kolbe Museum, a former artist’s studio from the 1920s. The sculptor drew, painted and worked with clay and plaster on his sculptures in this idyllic place in the middle of the pine forest. On three Sundays in summer, the garden of the Georg Kolbe Museum is transformed into a workshop and invites families* to engage in artistic activities.

Together with the artists and art educators Karoline Keiter and Cornelia Bessonov, silhouettes will be modelled from wax based on the sculptures of Georg Kolbe and Wilhelm Lehmbruck.
