Sculptures and photos capture living beings in motion. As participants in the Workshop for Girls, you will bring the artworks in the Georg Kolbe Museum back to life – in the here and now. Using dance, performance and elements of visual art, you will interpret themes that also move you in everyday life and creatively deal with questions of identity, gender roles and stereotypes. The results – performances, spatial interventions, drawings and collages – will be recorded in a stop trick film at the end.
The workshop is designed for girls aged 8 to 12. It is led by art educator Anke Göhring and choreographer and dancer Patricia Woltmann, takes place in the museum’s exhibition spaces, and refers to the current exhibition by Thomas Schütte.
The offer is supported by the Berliner Projektfonds Kulturelle Bildung as part of the project A FEMINIST MANIFEST- PERFORMATIVE SUGGESTIONS.
The workshop will be take place in German. Please enter the german page for booking.
