Friends
Founded in 2000, the friends of the museum support the GKM and its activities. It promotes exhibition projects, is involved in new acquisitions for the collection, in the restoration of works of art, in research projects and events. Another focus is on the preservation and activation of the historic museum site. The association brings together friends of the museum who are interested in modernist sculpture and are committed to corresponding research and promotion. The involvement with the museum activities is supplemented by studio visits, guided tours at the GKM and other institutions as well as collaborative projects and excursions.
Membership
As a member of the Circle of Friends you will receive exclusive invitations to previews, special tours, lectures and excursions. In addition, you will get invitations to all vernissages, free admission to exhibitions and other events, price reductions for catalogs produced by the museum and for editions, special conditions for the use of the house and garden, and communications about the work of the museum.
The annual membership fee is 70 euros for individuals and 100 euros for couples, 35 euros for juniors (under 35). The association’s regulations and membership application are available upon request.
Program
Every last Sunday of the month at 11 a.m., members and interested friends meet informally for a Jour fixe at the café benjamine. Members are informed about the current program of events of the Circle of Friends by email newsletter.
