Talk with the artist Tacita Dean

Tacita Dean (born 1965) explores coincidences, traces of the past, and moments where reality and fiction merge. In addition to film, her artistic practice also involves drawing, photography, and installations. Many of these works are closely related to her film projects and expand on their themes of perception, memory and history. Her works combine observations with poetic, often open-ended narrative forms. In conversation with Lucy Howarth, she shares insights into her artistic approach with a focus on the works presented in the exhibition.
