Prof Dr Jessica Ullrich is a deputy professor of art studies and aesthetics at the Münster Academy of Art. Her research interests include animal-human relationships in the arts and aesthetics. She is the editor of Tierstudien, the first academic journal for animal studies in Germany. Among other things, the lecture deals with the question of how animals can be taken seriously in the future as creative actors in their power to shape the world.
